Carowinds Fury 325 North Carolina roller coaster set to be
It's one of the few B&M Giga Coasters, as well as just flat out one of the few Giga coasters ever built. There's very few of those rides built. And while I may not be a huge fan of the B&M Hyper Coasters (there's one located right here at Carowinds), Fury 325 is just so damn good. So yeah. Let's just get riding and see what the hype is.

This photo of Carowinds' Fury 325 shows the crack in a support beam. (Tiffany Newton/Provided) When zoomed in, you can see the crack along the left side of the beam, meaning this structural failure had likely been forming for at least seven days. Carowinds released a statement after shutting down the ride that says in part quote:

Fury 325 Construction Update 1/30/15. On Friday, Carowinds placed the final piece of track into place for Fury 325. We had the opportunity to take a hard hat tour of the Fury 325 site yesterday, and took some photos. Update 8/10/2023: Carowinds' Fury 325 is now back open after cracks were discovered on the ride's supporting beam. According to a statement by Carowinds, the repairs of any cracks on Fury 325 have been completed and the ride has reopened.
